TERMS OF SERVICE – Michelle Varibe (version: December 2025)
These Terms of Service govern all services provided by Michelle Varibe, including but not limited to the website, 1:1 mentorship, online programmes, workshops, ceremonies, events and retreats. By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. GENERAL TERMS (ALL SERVICES)
1.1 Scope of Services
Michelle Varibe provides services focused on personal development, embodiment, healing, self-leadership and empowerment.
These services are not medical, psychological, legal or financial treatment and do not replace professional care.
1.2 Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
By engaging with any service, you confirm that you are mentally and physically capable of participating and take full responsibility for your well-being.
1.3 Client Responsibility
All services require active participation and self-responsibility.
Results vary per individual and depend on personal commitment, circumstances and integration.
2. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS & WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS
2.1 Payments
All prices are stated in euros unless otherwise specified.
Payment is required upfront unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed upon.
2.2 Payment Plans & Automatic Debits
When choosing a payment plan or automatic debit:
You commit to completing all payments in full
Early termination, non-attendance, emotional discomfort, dissatisfaction or personal circumstances do not cancel payment obligations
Missed or failed payments may result in suspension of access and/or collection procedures
2.3 No Refund Policy (General Rule)
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific service terms below, all services are non-refundable.
By purchasing any service, you acknowledge and agree that refunds will not be issued due to:
non-attendance
early termination
emotional discomfort or resistance
dissatisfaction with the experience
personal circumstances
This applies to both one-time payments and payment plans.
2.4 Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Where legally applicable, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
Specific withdrawal and refund conditions are defined per service type below and override this general clause where applicable.
3. ONE-TO-ONE MENTORSHIP TERMS
3.1 Nature of Mentorship
One-to-one mentorship is a collaborative, intuitive and embodied process designed to support personal and professional growth.
Mentorship is not therapy and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
3.2 Mentorship Term & Duration
Prior to the start of the mentorship, a fixed mentorship term (e.g. 3 months, 6 months) is agreed upon.
All sessions must take place within the agreed mentorship term
The mentorship term does not automatically extend due to illness, personal circumstances or scheduling challenges
Unused sessions expire at the end of the agreed term unless otherwise agreed in writing
This ensures clarity, commitment and energetic integrity of the mentorship container.
3.3 Sessions & Scheduling
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement.
Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Missed sessions are forfeited.
3.4 Boundaries & Responsibility
Clients remain fully responsible for their decisions, actions and emotional regulation throughout the mentorship.
4. ONLINE PROGRAMMES & COURSES
4.1 Types of Online Offerings
Michelle Varibe offers two types of online digital offerings:
a) Live Online Programmes
Programmes with a fixed start date, live components, group containers and/or facilitated sessions.
b) Evergreen / Self-Paced Online Courses
Pre-recorded or self-paced digital courses that grant immediate access upon purchase.
Different refund and withdrawal policies apply to each type, as outlined below.
4.2 Access
Access to all online programmes and courses is personal and non-transferable.
Sharing content, logins or materials is strictly prohibited.
4.3 Evergreen & Self-Paced Online Courses (Non-Refundable)
Due to the digital nature and immediate access of evergreen or self-paced online courses:
All purchases are final and non-refundable
No right of withdrawal applies once access has been granted
This applies regardless of:
participation level
completion
dissatisfaction
personal circumstances
By purchasing an evergreen online course, you explicitly consent to immediate access and waive your statutory right of withdrawal where legally applicable.
4.4 Live Online Programmes – Refund & Cancellation Policy
The following refund policy applies exclusively to live online programmes with a fixed start date.
a) 14-day withdrawal period
Participants may withdraw within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided the programme has not yet started.
→ 100% refund
b) After 14 days, but before programme start
If cancellation occurs after the 14-day withdrawal period but before the official start date:
→ 50% refund, due to reservation of a limited spot
c) Within 14 days before programme start
→ No refund
d) After programme start
Once the programme has started, no refunds are issued under any circumstances.
e) Payment plans
Payment plans do not alter the total fee obligation.
The full amount remains due regardless of participation, attendance or completion.
4.5 Community Spaces
If a programme includes a group or community space, respectful and aligned participation is required.
Harmful, disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund.
5. EVENTS, WORKSHOPS & CEREMONIES
5.1 Participation
Participation is voluntary and entirely at your own risk.
Events may include embodiment practices, emotional processing, movement, breathwork or ceremonial elements.
5.2 Cancellation & Refund Policy
Event tickets, workshops and ceremonies are strictly non-refundable.
You may transfer your spot to another participant, provided:
the replacement aligns with the nature and intention of the event
prior written approval is obtained via email
6. RETREAT TERMS
6.1 Booking & Payment
A deposit may be required to secure your place.
Full payment is due as specified per retreat.
6.2 Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
The following terms apply:
Cancellation more than 60 days before the retreat start date → 50% refund
Cancellation within 30 days before the retreat start date → no refund
Participants may propose a replacement participant, subject to approval, provided that:
the replacement aligns with the retreat’s target audience
the replacement agrees to these Terms of Service
Administrative costs may be deducted.
6.3 Cancellation by the Organizer
If the retreat is cancelled due to force majeure, insufficient participants or unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive:
a voucher for a future retreat of equal value, or
an alternative solution of equal value
Travel and personal expenses remain the participant’s responsibility.
6.4 Travel, Insurance & Responsibility
Participants are responsible for arranging adequate travel, health and cancellation insurance.
Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
7. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS
7.1 No Guarantees
No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, income, healing or transformation.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Michelle Varibe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
Emotional distress, lost income or missed opportunities are excluded
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, materials, videos, texts, frameworks and teachings are the intellectual property of Michelle Varibe and may not be copied, distributed, sold or shared without written permission.
9. PRIVACY, MEDIA & DATA PROTECTION
9.1 Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Privacy Policy.
9.2 Media Use
Photos or videos may be taken during events or retreats for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in such material, you must inform us in writing prior to the event.
No rights can be claimed after publication.
10. TERMINATION & FORCE MAJEURE
10.1 Termination by Facilitator
Participation may be terminated without refund if a participant:
repeatedly violates boundaries
disrupts the safety of the container
behaves in a way misaligned with the integrity of the work
10.2 Force Majeure
In cases of illness, natural disasters, government restrictions or other force majeure situations, services may be rescheduled or modified without refund obligation.
11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam.
